Singleton whisky, a 15 year-old expression of Singleton of Dufftown, Diageo's easy-drinking Speysider. This is a mix of European and American oak casks, producing a smooth, sweet, approachable style and a spicy, drying finish.
Nose - Slightly spicy feel and drying, overall. Toffee apples and hints of honeycomb balanced by linseed oil and hints of the sea.
Body - Medium bodied and pleasantly mouth coating.
Palate - Without water, the flavour is sweet to start then drying in the finish. Warming, light and smooth; tending to delicate. Fresh fruit with spicy top notes.
Finish - Drying. Pears and digestive biscuits, then delicately spiced with notes of aniseed
